Wai is an experienced live performer, and passionate music educator who has been an active force in the music scene since 1993. Apart from his major instrument electric bass, Wai began his journey on the guitar and later expanded to also the drums.

Wai's artistic range spans Rock, Heavy Metal, R&B, Funk, and Reggae. His festival credentials include performing with the rock band SIQ at Rockit 2005, playing with Sensi Lion at Clockenflap 2016 and the Hong Kong International Reggae Ska Festival, and performing with his current alternative groove-funk band, Site Access, at venues including the Fringe Club and Freespace West Kowloon.

Bringing his rich industry experience into the classroom, Wai has served as a trusted music instructor for the YMCA, the Playground Association, and the Methodist Church. He teaches electric/acoustic guitar, bass, pop drums, and ukulele. Wai takes great pleasure in passing down advanced performance techniques and stage dynamics to his students, inspiring them to explore their musical potential and refine their craft.
