SIMON HUI

Teacher of Double Bass, Cello, Electric Bass and Electric Guitar.

Simon Hui played double bass for twenty years in the Hong Kong Philharmonic and was also Principal Bass of the City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong until 2013. He has been a member of the HK New Music Ensemble since 2009. He has also been active in the non-classical scene, and was a founding member of the jazz and world music influenced group Han Shan. He has been playing in bands on guitar and bass since his school days, and is also a dedicated performer and teacher of the cello.
