Born in Hong Kong, Heidi Law was awarded scholarships for graduate studies at Shepherd School of Music, Rice University, where she acquired a Master of Music in Percussion Performance in 2010. She also graduated from Chinese University of Hong Kong with Bachelor of Arts (Music) degree in 2008.

​As a multi-faceted percussionist, she performs with artists, musicians and groups across a wide spectrum of genres; she also performs as a singer in theatre productions and as chorus in pop concerts.

 

An experienced educator, Law has been teaching percussion at institutes including St. Paul's Co-Educational College Primary School and Ying Wah Primary School. She also served at St. Stephen's Girl's College and the Music Office as percussion teacher, and at P.L.K. Chee Jing Yin Primary School as conductor of percussion ensemble. Heidi is currently serving in the Percussive Arts Society Hong Kong Chapter Committee.

 

Since 2023, Heidi has served as the Band Director of Our Amazing Kid Band, a band for underprivileged children. Through this role, she is committed to nurturing musical growth, creativity, and emotional well-being, fostering a sense of connection and community through music. Her work reflects a deep dedication to serving the community by cultivating harmony between artistic expression and holistic development.

 

Heidi is passionate about sound healing, energy healing and a wide range of mindfulness practices, she is keen on cultivating her knowledge and experience as sound and energy healing practitioner.
