Teacher of Voice and Piano

Erika is an enthusiastic vocal tutor with a passion for inspiring young musicians. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music (Hons) in Creative Industries at Hong Kong Baptist University, where she is also developing her skills in pop music performance, music production, and vocal engineering. Erika previously graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Creative Arts and Culture (Music Major) from The Education University of Hong Kong and was recognized on the Dean’s Honour List for her academic excellence.

 

With a strong foundation in classical music, Erika has studied classical vocal extensively and engaged deeply with classical music theory throughout both degrees. She holds ABRSM Grade 8 qualifications in both vocal and piano performance. In addition to her classical background, Erika is experienced in musical theatre, pop singing, and black gospel music.
Erika has participated in a variety of public performances, including the “On Broadway: Spring-Time Stage Production,” the AIA Carnival community stage, and as a performer at the 21st Sendai Gospel Festival in Japan.

 

With a warm and supportive teaching style, Erika is dedicated to helping children discover their voices, build confidence, and develop a lifelong love for music. She brings several years of diverse teaching experience, having worked with various music organizations and served as a children’s music group tutor. Erika’s broad background enables her to connect with young learners of different ages and abilities, nurturing their musical growth in a positive and encouraging environment.
