Teacher of Saxophone
Danny Li received his Master of Music from the National Taiwan University of Arts (NTUA) under the tutelage of Chih-Huan WU, Taiwan Yamaha artist.
He earned scholarships during his studies in Taiwan. He also performed in a masterclass for Chien-Kwan Lin, the professor of saxophone at the Eastman School of Music.
As an enthusiast of chamber music, Danny joined the MIT Advanced Training Saxophone Ensemble as a founding member, playing in different formats of saxophone chamber works with other university students in Taiwan. The ensemble performed in various venues and events including the National Concert Hall and the First Asian Saxophone Congress.
Back to Hong Kong, Danny held a few performances with Kizuna Saxophone Quartet, playing both solo and chamber pieces for saxophone.
He is currently a part-time tutor at the Music Office and saxophone tutor at various schools.
